Safety Town Summer 2008
April 2, 2008 by heritageyouthNOW REGISTERING FOR SUMMER 2008 - Safety Town is a pint-sized town where comprehensive safety messages are taught by safety professionals to kindergarten age children. Each day they learn a different safety message. We rely heavily on our many teen volunteers, our speakers who donate their time and knowledge, and most especially on the generousity of our sponsoring agency - Cherokee Safe Kids as well as the continues support of the Cherokee County Council of PTA. Who can attend? Registration is open to any child in Cherokee County who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2008. Scholarships are available. Register early as classes fill quickly.
Three session are offered this summer.
All sessions will be held at Bascomb Elementary School in Woodstock.
Session #1 - June 9 - 13Session #2 - June 16 - 20Session #3 - June 23 - 279 am to noon each day - $45 per week includes all materials, t-shirt, and snack.Please bring a bike helmet. http://www.cherokeecountysafetytown.org
